Do I need to buy a ticket for Vail Oktoberfest?
No, admission to Vail Oktoberfest is free!
I pre-ordered a stein. Where do I pick it up?
Pre-purchased steins can be picked up at the stein tent.
Stein Pick up times
Friday: 12:00pm - 8:00pm
Saturday: 12:00pm - 8:00pm
Sunday: 12:00pm - 5:00pm
I did not pre-order a stein. Where can I buy one?
Steins are for sale at the stein tent, as well as at the beer booths.
Can I bring my own stein?
Yes, you may use steins from previous years, or other Oktoberfests.
Do I have to buy a stein to drink beer?
No - if you do not have a stein you can buy beer in compostable cups.
Can I bring my dog?
Leashed, well behaved dogs are welcome at Vail Oktoberfest. Please note that dogs are not allowed on the free Town of Vail buses.
Is Vail Oktoberfest family friendly?
Yes, Oktoberfest Vail is a family friendly event - all ages are welcome! Our kid-zone will be open daily.
How can I pay for my beer?
Beer booths will be credit/debit card only for 2025.
Is there anything besides beer?
Yes! Full menus are coming soon.
Where can I sign up for the contests?
Contest sign up is near the main stage.
Where can I park?
Paid parking is available in the Lionshead and Vail Village parking garages. The first hour is free, then it is $2/hour, max $10/day. Visit www.vail.gov for more information.
